A bit about me: I am a writer and artist. I have been a teacher, a Peace Corps volunteer, and a graphic designer. My master’s degrees are in education and art. I have an amazing daughter, who attends college, and two very spoiled cats—one shaped like a sausage and one like a pear. Regrettably, I no longer have a dog, but I do adore dogs, and gorillas (if you couldn’t already tell). I feel lucky to live in beautiful North Carolina.
